So we got a little lighter on the cap! We got some good defence depth on both sides and this line up is a little tougher not much but enough to make me happy lol!
We got 10 million + in LTIR salary so that end is covered. The only thing left now is for the site trolls to tell me how much more the other teams guys values are versus what's I offer here and another perfect post from hound dog!

Another ALMOST perfect post from HoundDog

Ottawa a tally used Gaboriks LTIR to reach the cap floor last year. I expect they will need to do so again. So if you want Gaboriks LTIR, you have to trade them equal salary back. Which would mean actually parting with a useful player that makes approximately $4M.

Otherwise, another perfect post by LSD. Because I assume that's what you're taking when you write these crazy things. Because you got to be on something. Lol.

Most teams will hang onto their LTIR players as it will help with their cap situation. The Leafs will have to trade better players or include draft picks on order to pry any of these LTIR away from their teams.

What? LSD. silly rabbit 🐇 trips are for kids!
Anyway the site is still what it’s always been, foolish boredom! For the record and I mean 10th or 11th time I enjoy the site trades and comments but I take none of this to heart or believe in any of these so called rumours.
This site is like the CBC fake news!

Now onto Soccerluvr! Listen it’s been a few times that I’ve seen you mentioned the cap floor. For obvious reasons I would say your right but I did trade them a 3.4 million dollar guy. so can Ottawa go out and get some guys that shouldn’t impede the development of the kids.
The answer is yes they could. Now whether or not people on here like the fact that we have to perform some LTIR trades to operate above the cap which is how the greedy kids got us bent over the barrel!
I’ve thought this out long and hard and we have the talent
Mathews
Marner
Nylander
Tavares
Riley
And people think we don’t have enough to win? I think we do but these kids are just like mine spoiled rotten and only Do things when they decide to. Can they back check yes could they throw a hit a little more often yes. Do you want them to block shots probably not but going for the elusive cup I say yes block that shot, make that hit and back check can't say your not getting paid!

@Soccerluvr I really think we have the talent but they messed up with the management team, they should’ve took hunter or kept Lou! Ask how well Chayaka is doing in Arizona and he’s the other kid prodigy!

I like the first two trades for sure but idk about Lyubushkin as he hasn’t really proven himself to be a top 6 guy quite yet and I really don’t see him making the team over Lehtonen and Liljegren.

Teams that have cash like LTIR because it allows teams to operate above the cap During the season. That said teams that run budgets it’s looked upon as dead money, even if the insurance covers the salary or a portion of it. So those teams don’t value LTIR the same. Arizona is a great example of making the cap floor By buying up dead weight contracts when the league owned the team. They were the first to introduce us to how to make the cap floor without the player.

Toronto has to get some LTIR’s or drop salary it really is that simple!

@boat anchor. or I mean island resort. ah I’ll get it right without looking islandman or is it Islandtroll lol! Anyway your right on schedule with your valuation! Thanks I appreciate it!
@themostleafs I agree with your assessment on the Luybushkin my thought is he isn’t worse than the others left and Lethonen or Liljegren or my dark horse Rosen may be in that line up. But I felt we had to move out and bring in to even out both sides for depth.
That said I’m still happy with my proposal lol! Keep
On keeping On! May the leafs be with you!

Arizona next year has 2 million in cap space and need to fill 4 roster spots thus need hossas ltir

Detroit had 35 million in cap space but need to fill 9 roster spots including 2 significant RFAs. They may need hold off dealing zetterburg until they get closer to filling most of their roster soots

Ottawa has forty million in cap space and have eleven roster spots to fill with seven of those spots being mid level rfas looking for a pay raise. Getting to their cap floor will be pretty easy so Gaborik could be dealt.
