So, hearing whispers that if Leafs miss the playoffs or get bounced first round again, Dubas' might be looking for a new job. Do you think Dubas' not making any moves of significance at the deadline, and waiting until Andersen was hurt so we had to overpay for Campbell and Clifford both with out a target in his back?

No Dubas has been in charge for a year and a bit
Patience is key. Rome was not built in a day!

Apparently there is a #firedubas movement now. Lol.

I don't think he gets fired this year. But other than being a real good evaluator of talent, Dubas' has to shown he can perform in ant other capacity as an NHL GM. He grossly overlaid Marner, and most of the other RFA's he had to sign, and his track record in trades is not very good. He doesn't have Babcock as a scapegoat next year. If next season sees the Leafs miss playoffs or bounced first round still yet again, then I wouldn't be surprised to see him go. But I would be surprised if he gets fired after this year. Next year will be the deciding one.

I said it a few times. The Rosen deal was actually very good one and I didn't mind the lehner move as it's just space not being used anyway but either you believe in this team or you don't. If you believe this is a cup year then great, go get a defenceman. If you believe this isn't a cup year and work needs to be done you trade away a couple guys for picks/ prospects. I don't understand just doing nothing.

Ain't that the truth. He obviously didn't believe we were a contender. And looking at what some of the players were being traded for this year, Dubas' should have dumped assets. Doing nothing is one of the worst things he could have done. He left us in pergatory.
