Guentzel is hurt. He’s gone the rest of the year. He would be a great player though. Pittsburgh really scored with that kid. At first I thought he was just the lucky recipient of getting to play with Crosby. But it’s become very evident that he is a top-flight talent himself. Too bad we didn’t draft him. Instead we drafted Gauthier. I’m still unsure why Leafs picked a player in the first round that they openly admitted was a low level prospect with 3rd line potential at best. Though to be fair, it was a pretty weak draft. And we did score Johnsson in the 7th round, which is a bit of a steal of its own I guess. Still, Guentzel. Makes me jealous a team that is so good already could snag a guy like that. They already have enough stars.
