That's way too much for Duchesne, Only had 1 stellar season and while done well, has never really stood out since. Could also be that the Av's like to shove their best talent on the 1st line instead of spreading it out.

I'd rather keep Brooks @ almost 2 pts/ game WHL and Bracco 1.5 pts. per game (something Duchene never accomplished 1.38), Sosh who has much more worth than just points, and Kapanen who hasn't had a chance at the Leafs yet, plus a 1st No, it's too much to risk.

Mortgage the future on one center @6M that will be the 3rd line center in a couple of years. And he'll want a massive raise in 2 years.

No thanks. And Landeskog is a better and younger player at a position we need more (LW), than another center. But I still wouldn't give all that up for him.

Your 2nd trade is much more reasonable; Dumba is still young and makes mistakes, but that's the norm, and his offense is good, and he's a hitter.

Duchene is perfect fit, where are those prospects going to play? Top 9 is filled for 5 years besides Bozak.
Who is Kapanen replacing, or leipsec. Soshnickov is getting 4th line time and waiting. Bracco, maybe one can take JVR spot or Landeskog with Duchene
Barrie with Dermott is better second pairing.
