They are both big bodied LW. They are both the same age. They are both a top LW. Xcing you sound stupid saying JVR is top 6. he's top 3. They have the same amount of points this year and similar PPG traditionally. Do you need any more comparisons?

# of times over 80 points - Benn = 2, JVR = 0
# of times over 70 points - Benn = 3, JVR = 0
# of times over 60 points - Benn = 4, JVR = 1
# of times over 50 points - Benn = 5, JVR = 2
I would bet my life that given the option every GM would take Benn over JVR. You sound like an idiot saying they are the same. He is having one good season and all of a sudden he is as good as Benn. On any real contender JVR is a good second liner and will probably finish 4th-6th on his team in points however Benn will finish 1st-2nd. Not to mention Benn brings leadership to a team. You may think well that is just points but look at Blocks, hits, +/ -, even various trophy rankings. Use your head and stop being so bias/ stupid

Haha I didn't forget them, I left them out because it's irrelevant. How many points would JVR have had if not for his injuries. JVR has only played a half season for 4/ 6 of the last seasons, on poorly managed and coached leafs team. I quoted his PP60 for a reason. JVR is only over achieving by a small margin this year, his point totals would be about the same every season if not for injury.

Oh here's a fun thought, imagine JVR playing with Seguin, who drive that line. not Benn. Little bit better than Bozak. And before you talk about something that is completely subjective, read my original post. I didn't say JVR was better or even as good, I said they are comparable. Which they are. Because we have JVR we don't need Benn. If you think that the leafs are going to make a trade and give up assets for Benn than you, xcing, are the idiot.
