ridiculous proposal from Leafs perspective. give away part of the future for an aging dman? There's no deal to be had here. Leafs would want to dump a bad contract to Hawks and they, Chicago, can't afford it.

I didn't notice that contract. Wow! until 2024! and he's 31 now!

Not even if they ate 1/2 his contract. It looks as though the Hawks have set themselves up as also rans for the next 5 years.
