To shed salary cap, get stamkos rights, I think of all the trades I came up with, that was the most believable. The leafs will be trading a center if we pursue stamkos anyway

I'm skeptical about the stamkos trade. I like the idea because it moves cap space to make room to sign him, but if he doesn't sign, then the leafs lost bozak for nothing.

Why give up anything for Stamkos? Teams can talk to him as of today so they wouldn't be getting much for his rights. And they can just sign him for free (if he chooses to come here) on July 1st. Giving up assets is stupid.

What do you expect to get for bozak? Because they will need to shed his salary if they plan to sign stamkos and have some salary to play with in getting a dman. And like I said above its a sign trade

First of all I think trading for the rights to Stamkos is a bad idea. Second of all, the left wing position is horrid. Komarov is not even a second line winger on a good team. He is a strong third liner. Good year last year though. Like that Dumba trade

if it's the rare sign and trade (this ain't the NBA), then leafs would have to give half the roster for Stamkos.
