I posted before about trading Bozak to EDM. My only rationale is that they acquire him if they trade away RNH for D help!

IMO Bozak is the most likely player to be traded, Leafs will have too many Centre (especially if they sign Stamkos) and his age does not fit the plan.

Possible Bozak trades

To EDM: C - T. Bozak

To TOR: 2016 2nd round (32) + 2016 3rd round (83)

or

To CAR: C - T. Bozak

To TOR: 2017 2nd round pick + 2016 3rd round pick (74)

or

To DET: C - T. Bozak + 2016 3rd round pick (62)

To TOR: C - P. Datsyuk + 2016 1st round pick (19)

The Leafs add $3.3M in cap for this season in this move.

If Datsyuk doesn't play then it's too much to give up for the 19th.

I still think that Bozak can get a 1st in the 2nd half of the first round.

Maybe:

Minny 1st (15th)

Toronto Bozak, 4th rnd.

I would do the edm and car trades. I just don't think det gives 1st to give up datsyuk contract. As leaf fan not sure I would make that trade and only take on 3.3 for guy who would not play. Too much to have on sideline. See robidas.

Great post. Agree with all the scenarios; especially the EDM if they trade RNH.
