Does anyone believe that Babcock can get the leafs to sneak in to the playoffs this season? Leafs signed a lot of depth guys this offseason. With the roster of

It's a long shot but Babcock is the best at what he does so u never know. I will bet they will surprise a lot of people though. I was reading Babcock is going to run the D like this to start

I think this team will be outside the playoffs all year, and drop at the deadline. Top 5 pick! Matthews, Tkachuk, Pulljarvi, Laine, Jones, Chycrun. One of these guys will be dawning a leafs jersey. If not 1st pick (Matthews), I'd chose Tkachuk. The Finns could change that at the world junior tourney though.

Marner playing with Tkachuk will be tempting not to pair them up though, they'll both surpass 150 points on the O I think.
