Islanders trade Grabner, Okposo to Toronto for JVR, Lupul, Spaling and a 2nd rd pick.

Leafs flip Grabner at deadline to Detroit for Mantha and a 4th rd pick

Leafs also trade Okposo at the deadline to NY Rangers for JT Miller and a 1st rd pick

Okposo was on Team USA and is a very highly skilled player so a top prospect and 1st rd pick is minimum even for a possible rental

JVR alone is worth more then that package! Grabner is washed up! He's worth a 4th or 5th rounder at the most. Then u add another top 6 forward in Lupul,a decent 3rd liner in Spaling and a 2nd? Are u nuts? I'm not no expert but everything about that proposal above is wrong! No way Grabner gets us Mantha. If it was that easy we'll trade Lupul or Bozak for Mantha and a 1st lol.

Trade does not make sense for isles, Okposo already is just as good as JVR, lupul is not worth the money as he is always hurt and grabber comes off the books this year for the isles. Spalling is an ok bottom 6 forward but not needed by the isles.
