Bob McKenzie is saying he's hearing possible talks happening between Toronto and Phoenix. OEL ha seemed to maybe expressed he won't be signing there after next season when he's an UFA. Nylander for OEL is what's mentioned by him.
Never know, It could happen. But I believe it's a true rumor that those two teams have had talks. I'm not sure if it's a rumor or suggestion Of those two names being talked.
I trust Mckenzie, Friedman, Dreger, Duthie the most in the hockey world. They are the most connected "inside". But a rumor and a suggestion are two completely different things.
Another suggestion was that Toronto and Vancouver are talking.
Possibly a Kappanen and 1st for Tanev or would a better prospect need to be.
I don't think these suggestions or tumors are far off.

Lupul apologized and took his leafs cheaters comment down and said he would not be looking for a second physical from outside the organization.
A rumor came out that he apologized so fast because the Leafs have some crazy dirt on him that they would release.
New rumor and now has been confirmed is that the league itself will investigate into this themselves. Could be major major conaoqiences to the Leafs if he is deemed healthy to play.

First, the idea that the laegue would be investigating was not a rumour as it was a comment made by the deputy commish. Do you even know what a rumour is? Second, the league will not be investigating.

if lupul is found fit to play. leafs will buy him out and take the $1 million cap hit, they will be fined by peewee bettman, and forced to give up a 3rd rd pick in 2018 or 2019.the league should look into other "LTIR" cases, marian hossa with his diaper rash? First there is no rule against pulling hair. Why on earth do you think most fighters have short hair. Kadri was also grabbing his sweater which the beard overlaps, which is how it happened.
Second, Joe is a big player, and if he wanted to fight, he should have taken on Martin, not Kadri.
Third, if you want to have a beard, so be it; just don't whine about it, when it gets pulled, accidentally or not.
NOTE: I don't hear Joe doing that, just you! One of the more pussy douche things that's been posted.

Hey Leafs guys, what's the down low on Shoshnikov? He has skittle special clause in his deal where if he's not with the NHL club by midnight tomorrow (Monday) or Tuesday night he can leave the AHL and go play in the KHL or what? Just for this year I take it?
He probably doesn't have a spot on the Leafs right now, Is he worth trading or keeping then? He could probably crack a few lineups I'm sure. Vancouver, Arizona, Vegas even, Buffalo? He has signs of maybe being a solid third line guy doesn't he?
