Damn boy. You really pushing it here. Lol. It’s a downgrade on wing, but we bring in Savard, who is a heavy hitting defensively minded player who can really help us out. I like both the guys suggested, while having extreme dislike for Nylander. This is more than fair return, and if Columbus does this, then Leafs have a winner.
If increasing size was your objective, then congratulations are in order. You hit a home run.

Not quite the big return I was hoping for but it does merit discussion. Anderson is a local, nice size, can skate, and stats show he is rising (11 goals already this year) so an adequate replacement on RW, Savard nice size, RD and signed to a good contract, certainly an upgrade there but is it enough.
I am sure Columbus would have like the fact Nylander is signed and this would allow a trade for Pannarin that could be softened with Nylander.
Sounds like a win win on both sides, let's see how Michael Nylander likes Columbus, honestly I am done with him.

Brown + Zaitsev + 2nd Round for Montour + Silferberg.

Reilly Savard
Gardiner Montour
Dermott Lilygren $20 MM for your defense.
Than trade next year is Marleau or Nylander to make the cap.

Honestly, I'd love to see more prospects or picks in a return for Nylander. I'd also not want to see a prospect leave for any deal involving Nylander.
However, if push came to shove and leafs felt this was the direction they wanted to go Iwould then just take it for what it is and be happy about this.
After all 2 big bruisers definetly helps.
Which 2 guys get waived?
GOAThier and marincin are my choices.

Ozhiganov, Holl and Ennis sit in press box.

Anaheim doesn’t have the cap space to absorb Nylander’s contract this year. Manson would be great to have but that deal is not going to happen. There isn’t many teams that can take on his cap for this year.
