Not sure how I feel about this. Would I take it? Yes it would fix our defence while adding some scoring to replace Nylander. Would Dubas take it? Probably not unless something else was added from Carolina.

I'm sorry but Greedy Needylander is still worth way more than these 2 in Detroit.
If Detroit wants Nylander it's going to take a Mantha and a prospect or Larkin straight up.
Just my opinion of course.

Green is probably in the last year of his NHL career and Bertuzzi is at best a "B" prospect.
How is this a good trade in your opinion?

If these are the roster players involved then Detroit will need to add a top prospect,1st rounder 2019 and 2nd round 2020.
Even that may not get the talk started for a guy like Nylander. even though I think he is greedy. he is still very good.

nylander. Freddy the goat. Timashov 5th and 7th round picks for tanner pearson jake muzzin. A good right winger prospect that is close to making the lineup to replace the nylander firepower eventually. and 1rst 3rd picks.

with the picks leafs get from la they can trade them at the deadline for another Good D to help with a long playoff push.

Prospects and picks need to be thrown in as Nylander is a pretty good player. All right players just won't cut this deal.

La definetly needs to add a prospect or 2 plus a draft pick or 2 to make this deal worth it for Toronto.
Even with that due to LAs salary problems getting a respectable trade back from them for Nylander is hard because outside of Kopitar and Doughty I really don't want any of their higher salary guys theyd need to throw in to make salary match and LA won't trade the only 2 guys worth it.
If you can package a great prospect and draft package with a few salary dumps maybe just maybe Toronto bites.
Good start though. keep proposing it will get better and easier.

Martinez is 33 years old and Tanner Pearson is a 3rd line winger.
Would you really advocate giving up an elite, 1st line, right wing for such a paltry return.

where to start. Hainsey has on year left on his contract won't be here after end of 2018-2019 season Much as i like Panarin as a player we don't need him or would he fit in our already tight Cap situation even if he wanted to stay in Toronto.
