The Habs already foolishly traded their best RHD prospect. They can't afford to dump another one.

On top of that Juulsen is only a mid level prospect which the Leafs already have better (Rosen, Borgman, Liljegren, Rasanen) . He has no NHL or AHL experience to date, and his numbers are "meh".

Juulsen should not have been drafted in the 1st round, just like the Leafs panicked and drafted Korshkov at the top of the 2nd round.

I doubt that the Habs will trade him.

Chabot is a LHD. We need RHD. We have depth on the LHS.

And you forgot to add a 1st rounder. JVR is a proven pro. Teams will pay at the deadline for him.

Note: JVR had more points than Duchene last year. You undervalue him.

Since 2012:
JVR = .73 points/ game
Duchene = .76 points/ game

JVR 4.25M Duchene 6M

The players are of the same value. But JVR never took a year off like Duchene last year.

The Sens got ripped off and lost Turis (good scorer, better all round player), 1st, 3rd and more.

The Sens gave up way too much for Duchene.

Sens management should be fired.

Then again, let them keep shooting themselves in the foot.
