Just a thought.
Both teams looking to win the cup and I think Komarov would be great in the playoffs.
Tor: Komarov
Chi: Bickell, Pokka, CBJ 4th "16, Chi 2nd "17
or
Washington: Laich, Bowey, 2nd "16
Thought these deals would help both teams. Shaw and Komarov on the same like would be exhausting. What are your thoughts? I think if anyone adds it would probably be the Leafs but only a little.

There have been many trade rumours involving JVR to Anaheim. I think that these teams would be great trade partners because Anaheim needs scoring and have a surplus of young D-men. Anaheim also has and internal salary so JVR's contract is very valuable. Not to mention it would be unfair to add JVR to a line of Perry and Getzlaf.
Don't get me wrong, I love JVR but I think that he is more valuable in a trade than he is in his 30's.
(I can see the comments now, " You need good vets, " "30 year olds can still play. " I think his contract is too valuable to keep.
I have also seen many trades involving Gardiner but most comments say that puck moving D-men are too hard to find.

Vatanen
(Small add)
I don't know how Anaheim fans feel about giving up Vatanen but to me it seems to fill each teams need.
With the addition of Vatanen, Gardiner is expendable.
Toronto-
Gardiner+
Edmonton-

Obviously this trade depends on a few things. If we get Matthews the trade is off, period. If we get Stammer the trade is done too. Depending on how you feel about Nylander being a 1C and Kadri a 2C you may want an upgrade. To me, Kadri is a fine 2C. I doubt he will ever play much better than he is right now but if his shooting % turns around a bit he could be a 25G 25A guy.
Just some thoughts, tear me up.

I like what you said about JVR's contract possibly being too valuable to keep. Everyone will debate that till the day he retires. However Anaheim adds a 1st for sure imo. Good deal for huge but I doubt Edmonton even takes that call. Don't want Nuge though too small and low ceiling.

Way to discredit your second proposal which u tied to your first proposal by saying it doesn't work if 2 of the most talked about/rumoured scenarios happens to the Toronto Maple Leafs. U under value JVR he's a player who can score 30 goals in a season. The fragile label hasn't been set on him yet and is signed to an the aforementioned amazing contract for 2 more seasons.

Bozak moves us up that far then we still have to take Datsyuk? Also without Datsyuk's contract Detroit can afford a much needed 1c for next year in Stamkos

I like the idea of getting a bonus for Datsyuk but I think that it depends on how we feel about Stamkos. If we get Datsyuk we don't have room for Stammer and then our division rivals Detroit seem favourite to sign stammer
