Very little to dosageee with here. Greenway is a good choice. Highly rated prospect player. Quite large, likes to hit, and sound defensively. He’s a good choice to replace Brown. If he lives up to his potential, he could be a 3rd or even 2nd line player on most teams. Brodin obviously is outstanding as well. I wish Minnesota would do this. But they are so tight against the cap I don’t know if they can afford it. But hey, that’s what accountants are for. If Minny wants to do this, Leafs would be getting a very handsome return for a couple guys that really have a limited future with us.

Minnesota might just do this deal. Gardiner is a minny boy and due to Minnesotas cap next year wouldn't be able to just sign him as a UFA this summer.

Why not get him now for a another defenceman with a cap hit that would cause them not to sign Gardiner.

Brodin is a great guy to replace Gardiner and Gardiner definitely helps minnesotas bad offence. it's a win win.

Only problem I see is Minnesota needs a guy coming with Gardiner who takes up next to no cap space so signing Gardiner becomes easier. . brown may not be a guy they want unless more cap is coming back . Greenway is a no go. minny loves him and he loves minny

Tweek this deal a bit to accommodate both teams and I definetly think you are on to something here.
