Kreider looking good. Leading NYR in scoring. Fantastic player. On pace for a career year. Two years left at reasonable value. NYR still in playoff contention. Unless they plummet down standings, I have a hard time seeing Rangers trade Kreider before either of Hayes or Zibanejad, unless the return was overwhelming, which this one isn’t. Hayes and Zibanejad May finish the year in NY themselves.
All those guys are damn good players. If Leafs take a stab at a rental, I would like to see them snag Hayes and play him 3C and put Kadri 1LW.

I agree with leafsgm on this one. Lei o looks to stay in lineup even after Nylander and Matthews return. He works well on second power play unit.

When the big two return and it may take 2 weeks b4 nylander suits up due to fitness. Who is going out of lineup GAUTHIER i think is out for sure. Which puts LINDHOLM at 4th center. So who else comes out BROWN ENNIS OR LEIVO.

Love Kreider and he would look so good on with Matthews and Nylander but I don't think we can afford him next year.

Ennis is the obvious choice.
Nylander isn’t signed yet. Apparently his starting bid was $9.5 😱. That’s just silly and shows right there how greedy he really is. Probably figured he would start $9.5 and settle for $8. Guess Dubas showed him who the boss really is. I don’t think Dubas budged at all, and that is why this holdout has been so long. Nylander’s camp expect Dubes to come up to meet halfway and he held the line instead. Either way, Nylander deserves to be traded. If he signs now for the same price they offered him this whole time, then he deserves to be booed mercilessly every time he touches the puck.

Leivo has no ability to finish . he is really bad (I know he has 4 goals . everyone will get a few each year)
He works pretty hard but is just a big sloth. If he at least played physical I could see a tile for him .
He’s got to be traded once Matthews and Nylander come back .
Package him with Gardiner and a 1st
What do you guys think you could get for that package?
Leafsgm? David? Craig?

Leivo, Gardiner, 1st would bring us a pretty decent UFA in return if Leafs choose to go that route. NYI or NYR both could use these guys and have some decent UFA’s available. If you are wanting long term, then would be more of a depth player coming back. Leivo sucks, Gardiner is UFA, and the 1st will be very late, so can’t expect a great young player coming in here.

Gardiner, Leivo and a 1st would fetch a pretty good penny if you choose right team to get the fetch from.
I agree islanders and rangers are teams that may want or could use these guys.
I look at underpreforming teams for a deal like this to happen.
Edmonton . would they give up Nurse for this package?
That 1st rounder might be inticing enough to make up years signed differance
St. Louis. Beaumeester and a Thomas
St. louis doesn't have 1st rounder, Gardiner really helps what st. louis is lacking and this summer st. louis has over 20 million to resign him.

Love to have Kreider.
The original deal although well thought out I don't see being enough for such a big, fast good skater.
If Nylander signs would a package involving Kapanen be a good starting point.
If Nylander doesn't sign than he'd be odvious choice to start discussions with.
Damn. much like Manson, I've always had a fondness for Kreider. think it all started the year he literally took out Price and the Habs in the playoffs. so big. so fast. and now looks like it's all coming together for him. oh boy what a target.
Kreider Matthews Nylander or Kapanen. WOW.
