I feel like this balances out, and Provorov will be a true #1 Dman while Simmonds is exactly what we need with Matthews and Kapanen.

In your CLB trade why would Leafs give up a good prospect Johnson, Brown a very valuable player (Babcock favorite) ANNNNNNNNND a 1st for a rental?

In your Philly trade no chance they give up Provorov, a stud for them. Even if they get Nylander and say they give him his 8+ long term, they have two forwards earning 8+. Giroux (four left at 8.275), Vorachek (six years left 8.250). Can you say cap hell. Those 3 would not = Matthews, Tavares, Marner.

Not a bad deal. don't know if Philly would do this but it's a good start in the negotiations.

I heard rumblings a Kapanen for Sanheim deal in works if and when Nylander signs.

Philly is definetly a good trade partner to look into

Philly might consider it, they have a crap ton of quality LHD, their top guy is Gostisbehere, they also have a few other guys so trading Provorov and getting back a top RW and a good offensive Dman (They can like him we don't) then that's not too bad I must say.

A little off topic, but as a Leafs fan i'm liking these deals involving Nylander more and more. I do not like the Bruins, but i'm a fan of hockey and respect good players and Pastrnak is amazing. the more i see him play the more i'm annoyed at Nylanders antics. these two aren't even on the same level yet Nylander wants way more money. I am 100% all for a Nylander deal, keep the proposals coming! Cheers.
