So idk about you guys but I don't think the leafs can afford the big three I mean they can but it puts them right against the cap I think both Marner and Mathews numbers are going to make a big jump this year and the leafs are going to have to pay them. So I think the leafs look to move Nylander

Tor: Nylander Horton Bracco

Chi: saad d raddysh

I like saad he's a hard nose guy and has skill and is on the 6 mil contract the leafs want Nylander on we save a bit of money in this deal to resign guys.

The other point I wanted to mention was I don't think the leafs can afford to move Gardiner yet after watching Dermott last night. He was turning the puck over and kept falling everywhere I think the leafs wait till deadline and see if Dermott is ready to step up Borgman looked real good tho

Another one could be this

Tor Nylander Bracco

Det: mantha and the leafs take a bad contract back.

I would rather have Dermott having a bad night in pre-season than Gardiner having a bad night game 7 playoffs.

I agree all I’m saying is right now
I think the leafs keep Gardiner and use him as trade bait if Dermott is able to play at the level needed.

I'd be a fan of moving Nylander, especially if it brought back a 1RHD. I'd also be very happy with a package similar to, but of greater value than, what Montreal got for Patches. They really nailed that trade. Even if Willy signed an offer sheet I'd be thrilled - imagine the damage Doobs could do with 4 extra first round picks. That price is naturally the reason he won't, but a man can dream.

That would be nice if there was one available but I think if you trade Nylander you need a player to fill his spot that is just as good as him and I think the leafs look to the team that probably won’t do much this season and see if they can swap talent with talent.
