Apparently Nylander wants around 8x8, if that's the case then he is gone.

Leafs: Nylander, Brown
Canucks: Boeser

This is only if Matthews and Boeser get over their beef, and if they do they would be the best damn duo in history. Brown is likely not going anywhere but if he does we have guys ready for his spot.

If I may make a suggestion: Nylander, Gardiner for Boeser, Baerstchi

Now we give Vancouver an extra piece to the puzzle by providing them with someone who in all likelihood will be their 1LHD. Gagner gives us extra center depth, which we still need. He’s got to be better than anyone else we have for that 4C position. For doing them the favor of taking Gagner off their hands, we get Baerstchi in exchange for Gardiner. Baerstchi is good depth LW and not very expensive. He would go beside either Kadri or Gagner.

Hyman/ Matthews/ Boeser
Marleau/ Tavares/ Marner
Johnsson/ Kadri/ Kapanen
Baerstchi/ Gagner/ Brown

That’s a pretty deep lineup any way you look at it.
