Lindholm is a pretty damn good player David. I really don’t think you’re going to steal him for this package.

I need to ask: why are you thinking about trading for Lindholm anyway? We already have Dermott to replace Gardiner.

I would only trade for Lindholm if you were thinking about trading Reilly (for Heiskenan or Makar maybe? ) .

I agree. i don't see Gards or Dermott being too far off from Lindholm. seems arguably lateral. however a lot of sites feel this has some legs which is surprising to me. i'm really bummed about Ellis, was close to the top of my wishlist. I honestly don't see anything of significance happening in Toronto aside from their own RFA re-signings.

This isn’t my trade it’s been heavy rumour all day Nielsen is switched to rolling the Ducks on one of his accounts . That’s what started this rumour reported on TSN.

I’ve been working all day, so haven’t heard the news. If Leafs could get Lindholm for that price, they should do it. Gardiner would be shown the door a lot faster. We could even potentially trade Reilly in a year or two for a true 1RHD if Lindholm, Dermott, Sandin can hold the left side.
