Toronto trades Brown, Leivo, 1st
Philly trades Frost

Brown and Leivo deserve a shot somewhere else, and Philly can use them more than we can. In return, we get a highly rated prospect that can take Kadri’s spot in a few years.

Brown plays plenty and is in excellent company; and your correct, Leivo needs to play more; he and others in the organization are the spoils of a great group of folks. Deals will be made before the official puck drops in October.

Go Leafs!

@Leafsfan

I wasn’t meaning Brown didn’t play enough. What I meant was that he has rapidly dropped down the depth chart and is now slotted to be relegated to 4th line next year. He’s a better player than that and deserves to have a chance to play a larger role on another team. Whether Philly is the right landing spot for him or not, I’m not sure of. What I am sure of is that next year he will be victim to Leafs amazing depth, and rather than have him waste away and erode in value, we should trade him now while we can get maximum return for him. Including him with Leivo and a 1st is more than enough for Philly to make this trade (I would hope anyway) .

@Leafs19xx

Why do you think Leafs pass? Frost is a very highly rated prospect who was second in OHL scoring last year. He’s as close to a sure bet as they come.

Who seriously thought out of jr Barzal would do as he did? NOONE

Frost reminds me of him. quick, slippery and was picked lower draft year then had amazing final season in jr. get him now when you can as Barzal is untraceable now and Frost will be that this time next year. prediction of course but reality on Frost may happen.

Take risk now while u can.
