With the Trouba situation still up in the air for next summer. The Jets will not be trading Myers this year.

Well I guess they won't trade him at all because his contract is up after this season. BTW Trouba got awarded 5.5M for this coming season.

Not sure Calgary would bite and I don't want Hamhuis but Myers for Gardner would satisfy the needs of both teams and both players are on expiring contracts.

I like the Calgary trade. Don’t think Calgary would make it, but if we could swing something along those lines it definitely has its appeal. Bennett is young and has not lived up to expectations, so will be cheap. A change of scenery might be just what he needs to turn his career around, and maybe in a couole years he could even be a possible replacement for Kadri. It’s also a good trade because you are moving out more contracts than you are bringing in, so gives Leafs more flexibility down the road.

Not sure how I feel about Hamhuis. We already have so many depth defensemen. Do we really need another?

Replace Grundström with Lindholm and u got a deal with the lines, I would like Bennet because our centers would be the best top 4 in the league.
