Id love to have Ellis. i posted last week asking what it would take to get him. although i didn't have the guts to attempt a deal, i know Toronto would have to give up much much more than that. Ellis alone would fetch more in my humble opinion. But how nice would it be to have Ellis.

Maybe carrick, Kap, Bracco and a 1st

Would shed a few tears to see Kap go though.

Ellis only has a year left before free agency. Unless an extension was in place first, then I think BigBoy’s offer is much closer to reality.

Watson’s a big kid who had a solid outing last year. He’s make a nice throw in for depth as well.

Doesn't seem very realistic.
Poile didn't build a Stanley Cup Contender in Nashville by making deals like this.

Nashville barely has roster needs, and none of the players sent there in this trade have a real chance of even making their team other than Carrick, except his spot is manufactured by the loss of Ellis. While the objective value may or may not be close, Ellis has way more value to Nashville than what's being offered. Nashville passes.

Nashville needs secondary scoring, not roster cast offs, kapenan or brown and Johnsson are the only roster players they'd be interested in getting.
