To Toronto:
Pesce, Rask, 2019 2nd and 5th or 3rd and Fleury
To Carolina:
Sparks, 1st 2019, Grundström or Korshkov, Leivo, depth defensmen (Marincin, Borman cause we have too many and Carolina will be likely be bringing theirs up soon)
Lines
Hyman/Tavares/Marner
Marleau/Matthews/Nylander
Johnsson/Kadri/Kapanen
Lindholm/Rask/Brown
*Ennis
Reilly/Pesce
Gardiner/Zaitsev
Dermott/Hainsey
*Ozhiganov, Carrick
Anderson
Mcbackup (Bring Pickard up in 2019-20 season after he signs a new contract)
Only problem here is we have two 7th d man who both play the right side so there will probably be a trade in Zaitsev, Gardiner or Hainsey (I want to get rid of Zaitsev's contract if he has an off year again so I hope it's him)
Btw who do u think leafs should trade, Grundström or Korshkov
And
Should they trade for a second and fifth or Fleury and a third (considering all the 7th d depth they have)

Canes give up rask as well. um no. If the leafs don’t need shore like you said then why do they need rask?
Lol 🤡🤷‍♂️.

Because Rask can actually move up the lineup if someone gets hurt, shore can’t.

Don’t know how many gms make trades based on injuries
That may happen? But you are the genius mostleaf not me. because you say shore can’t move up? That’s your opinion so it must be fact? last time I checked shore can skate also is versatile forward wise. your trade with the canes won’t happen anyways because you are essentially stealing from them. then you also trip over yourself as usual and say leafs have too many dmen but then you post several options one of which you trade for 2 dmen . 👍
Keep up the well thought out posts tiger!

What I mean is shore doesn’t have the skill to move up and play in the middle of two young future top 6 forwards, and Rask can replace Kadri long term in case of a long term injury in the top 3 centers of the lineup
In my opinion shore doesn’t have the ability to center a line of two young players, but Rask does, and that’s why I prefer him
Rask is basically way more skilled and is almost in his prime is my point.

Mostleaf. So you are going to bury a 4 million $ cap hit on the fourth line playing 5 minutes a night? Yup it’s called a salary cap for a reason dope do you want me to do the math?
Fantastic cap management
Why not post sparks nielsen and other scrubs on the ahl team for Mcdavid? He can move up too😱
Lol.
Keep the posts coming. I need a laugh 😜.

1 Babcock plays the fourth line the same amount of time as any other line
2 It give leafs an option to trade Kadri or Johnsson because they have someone who can move up the lineup
3 If u have to u can trade Hainsey or Zaitsev to clear space like I said before.
