You realize we need money for Matthews Marner for contract extensions right? If u sign too many people you will use up that money and just have to trade them right away.

You would need to offer up something of similar value to land Trouba, not just a pile of crap you no longer want. Zero chance the Jets consider that offer.

Stastny will want more than 4 years and more than $5 million a year. Both are too much.
Trading Nylander for Ristolainin would be one of the biggest mistakes Leafs have made since the John Ferusen era.
Ristolainin is not a good defenseman while Nylander is a proven 1st line, right wing.
