I would do this trade.

You’re only losing Brown off the current roster and bringing in Lucic and Larsson, and getting the 10th, which could really turn into a valuable future asset.

Lucic had a bad year last year, but prior to that, he performed well. If worse comes to worse, we can always buy him out.

You would be willing to take on Kesler’s contract to land Manson, but unwilling to take on Lucic in order to get Larsson and the 10th?

Leafs gm. Well the idea is to Put Kesler on ltir. Lucic? Does he have some injury nobody knows of?
That’s why I would take Kesler.
