Your bang on with the notion now is time to start looking at moving zaitsev

Team that get him benifit on long cap friendly contract with a decent player

Quickly becoming bad fit in Toronto

Nylander is on this same list of potential moveable with great value

List leafs can trade in blockbusters

Nylander
Brown
Zaitsev
Gardiner
Neilsen

This Boston series is changing everything in leafs future plans.

You touch my heart as your doing exactly what should be done your looking at this season and seeing ok we have players of value that no longer fit Toronto. That's the blessing of butt kicking we are taking everyone wakes up and see the reality of what is flawed

I worship ground your walking on Nylandermagic

You got this whole situation down pat.

For those of you out there that say bring back

JVR
Bozak
Komarov

Are you seeing what

LeafsGM mr pangit blizzardandwine nylandermagic and myself clearly see

That status que is not happening this offseason we are looking nasty skilled dudes and trading solid assets that no longer fit in Leaf land. All 3 of UFAs close door quietly as you leave thanks very much.

We all all awake now this is a hammering of massive proportions.

The Boston series is NOT changing everything in their future plans. Only an idiot would think that they were going to make a run this year, only two years removed from finishing dead last. All this series does is highlight that they need a some players who are big and skilled - it does not indicate that the plan needs to be scrapped.

Davemackin,

2 years ago at this time would you have been shocked that the leafs did this well this season and made the playoffs? Yes of course. Would you have been shocked if I told you 2 years ago that in 1 year the leafs will make the playoffs? Yes you would.

Leafs are not trading Nylander. They are still rebuilding now matter how much you think they’re all in for the cup. They’ve had a plan for 2 years and they’re going to stick to it because when teams don’t stick to their plan look what happens (Edmonton)

DBF and babsock

This series is changing everything.

I was the one begging they sell Jvr Bozak and komarov at deadline. I saw this happening

Those 3 are toast

Yes we are ahead of schedule we were dead last June 2016 I get that. But we have got to build a team now to take us higher so these playoffs show us players that are not part of future.

Nylander
Brown
Zaitsev
Gardiner
Hainsey

All won't go but they are your trade chips

Toast gone thanks 4 everything

JVR
Bozak
Komarov
Polak.

Babsock your not trading players for nothing getting same quality back

If Nylander Brown zaitsev and second round pick

Gets u signed Karlsson 8 years and stone

R u better or worse

Is Ottawa better or worse

Both teams are much better off.

LeafsGM

Help me out I'm talking to wall in DBF and Babsock.

Would you agree with me leafs have no physicality in their lineup that has skill. That Boston team is is running us into the ground.

Is it not time to look closely and say we need a certain element and to get it we are going to have to trade some skill players . We are not altering ships course but we are changing a few players.

We need a few nasty players with skill kid in Calgary is good example but he has personality disorder. We are not changing a plan we are tweeking it

Tired to see marner flattened JvR is flattened and even Komarov run over. Boston are laughing at leafs this can't happen next year. Boston and Tampa are still going to face leafs next year so we better fix some things.

Leafs need more size. The guys they have been drafting last couple years are all big boys. Some, such as Räsänen, are monsters. The boys in blue are soft. We need some grittty, hard-hitting scrapers to go along with the skill players we currently have.

Nylander is showing his real worth this series. He is soft. Of the big three, Nylander has always been the most expendable. We are strong up wing, and with Nylander set to sign a big contract, it might be worth at least shopping him to see what kind of value we could get in return.

Before this series started, you were probably saying that our line looked very good and we'd put up a good fight against Boston. Now, after 2 game, you're saying that they need a major change up? I HIGHLY doubt there will be major changes through trades.

Before swries started, I actually thought Leafs had a shot and could beat Boston. At minimal, I expected it to be close. Leafs are getting blown away.

Leafs are ahead of schedule. And that means is that our weak points are being exposed sooner too. What we are seeing here is a much larger Boston team manhandle Leafs. We need some guys who can throw the body around and pop a few goals. We have enough skill.

What does it matter if Nylander is soft? Kucherov is soft too but I don't think Tampa wants to trade him. If you think our team is soft, you keep the stars and trade the average skilled guys for average big/ tough guys. If this is your point on Willy, why are you so excited to have Bracco come up? He's not even close to being as skilled as Willy.

Two week ago you scoffed at the idea of trading Nylander and treated it like utter blasphemy. Now you think it's a must-happen?! It's just two games, and against a team that's widely considered to be the best team in the East.

Breathe please. Inhale, exhale, repeat.

Reilly needs to go. He is softer than melted butter and more scared than the cowardly lion in the wizard of oz. You pick on Gardiner, but have you watched Reilly the first two games. Put a pylon in for him, it would do more.
