TOR: JVR, 2nd, 3rd

Resulting 3 way:

TOR: Kane, 3rd(CAR), 4th(BUF)

BUF: Rask, 1st(CAR), 3rd(Tor)

CAR: JVR, 2nd(Tor), 2nd(BUF)

A rough 3-way; the structure in, but picks used instead of players.

Toronto gets a mature Kane, a 3rd & 4th. LW problem solved for the near future, assuming Kane gets extended.

Carolina gets JVR, and two 2nds. There is no reason that JVR wouldn't sign there, with all that cap room and his brother. He's not coming back to Toronto.

Buffalo gets Rask(4 more years at cheap $4M), a 1st, and a 3rd. He's a good young center to go behind Eichel and O'Reilly, a 1st for repairing their lineup, and a 3rd.

Arrangements for extensions could be made before the deal.

For the love of God how does this help the Toronto Maple Leafs? Buffalo can keep Kane we have enough left-wingers in our pipeline to prosper at the big league level. On top of it you give our last second round pick and a third-rounder? The laughable thing about this trade is Kane is actually getting a first for buffalo. If the Leafs are going to trade jvr they're getting at least what Nash got for the Rangers. This has got to be the worst trade I've seen in a while and there's been a crap load of bad trades on here.

It's not all about just posting trades, but also debating on trade proposals or what peoples thoughts are on valuations. I am not an expert, I just provide my thoughts on what his valuation was and made sure he was aware of it. For that, apparently I am a coward. If the trade wasnt so moronic, I wouldn't have challenged his valuation. I only debate what I feel is a poor deal, which I am entitled to.

Yeah I agree with you it is not just about posting trades it is about providing evaluations. Don't you love how he comes back at everyone who disagrees with him on any or should I say every one of his posts. We all get our own personal rebuttal from him. Well I’m very happy this was torn apart before I got here. Not much to say here. FT4A said it perfectly.

I was apart of a huge thread with lab thought we should trade Nylander + a pick for Tkachuk. Went on for days. Then two weeks later he says Nylander is the more valuable player lol.

Most of what Lab says is great. But that 5% is just terrible. i think he’s just old and remembers hockey when fighting and cheap shots was apart of the game.
