For the Winnipeg trade, you'd have to drop the first. Jets don't really need JVR except for maybe some playoff depth, so they won't give up a first for that.

I like the Edmonton trade idea. Both Letestu and Maroon are rumoured to be trade bait. I think Edmonton will want more though. You might have to sharpen the pencil just a bit more in that trade. Maroon > Leivo and Letestu is worth more than Carrick. Edmonton has made a lot of bad trades in the past, but trading Marion for a lesser player like Leivo is one I think even they are smart enough to avoid.
