The rebuild is only in its third year. Please Toronto do not trade draft picks this years is very strong. Also 30 goal scorers are difficult to come by.

Trade Bozak and Komarov for picks and resign JVR

I don’t anticipate the leafs trading any of them. JVR and Leo are both too important to this years playoff run. Bozak is most likely to go but I don’t see it happening unless Lou get a deal he can’t refuse. Our centre depth is not good. If you don’t think they’re going for it this year your crazy. They’ve openly stated they’re pushing for home ice advantage. They want to go as deep as possible. I’m not saying we’ll be huge buyers either. I think it will be a quiet deadline with maybe one small depth addition with leivo and sosh going for a conditional late round pick each.

Letting them walk for one round of playoffs; is the deal Lou can't afford to make. It's stupid to talk of a long term rebuild and let them walk for nothing.

They are experienced assets; move them for younger ones.

Letting them walk for nothing is just brain dead.

Either sign them by the deadline or trade them. We are going to make the playoffs this year with or without JVR, Bozak, and Komorov. The whole idea of using them as our own rental players is dumb. And that’s why hockey writers and analysts are not gm’s.
