ARI has been busy working the phones lately. Rumour has it that Max Domi could be available. It's interesting to note he has a very low cap it and is an RFA soon. Clearly disgruntled with his current situation I feel this is a player that could be a future 3c that we will need this upcoming season. I guarantee chayka has prodded at the big 3 to no avail. I even better he's asked for kapanan and /or liljegren plus picks . I feel now it wouldn't be the best time to buy as the draft he could be had for less but this is a player who could galvanize the bottom six and simultaneously replace the grit and toughness displayed by Komarov and Martin while also being a contributing offensive threat. Add in his father was a leaf favourite and you've got a trade to make the fans even more excited than they are now the question now is how?

Ari :Domi , future considerations

By the draft it may be more viable as we have a better assesment of who we want going forward and where there value lies. drafts.

I wouldn’t mind Domi, in saying that I wouldn’t trade either one of those options for Domi at this point. Last season and this season has been a dumpster fire for him.

I'd like Domi on the Leafs i think he's just what we need but it's a bit of an over payment on the Leafs part for a guy that has 3 goals this year.

NHL98 gives a good assessment on the trade proposal. I agree with you in that I wouldn't give up any of the proposed players for Domi, even though he would make a nice addition. Definitely the Leafs should do their due diligence in finding alternative ways to land young talented players like him who may have fallen out of favour with their present teams.
