Canadiens are looking for young, scoring prospects and picks for Paciority, leafs have lots.

Leafs: Hyman, Lievo, Timashov, Valiev, 2018 3rd.
Habs: Paciority

Patch's contract lines up nicely with the Leafs future cap needs and adds a hard working goal scoring winger. Lines could look like;
Marleau - Mathews - Nylander
JVR - Kadri - Komarov
Patch - Bozak - Marner
Martin - Goat - Brown
Leaves the Leafs with some chips(Carrick, Soshnikov, Rychel) and cap space(and roster space) to add a RHD(Demers?)

Icant see babs being okay with lou letting Hyman go. He plays on his first line he's a go to penalty killer and he is constantly raving about his work ethic. We coukd use patch next year after jvr is gone but there isn't a lot of room there. I Also think everything you offer up is an over payment for a year and a half of a player he has more then likely grown to hate toronto he probably would want to test free agency at the end of the contract.
