I realize this might not be quite enough to land Dumba so if anyone has any suggestions for assets we could add just add below

If you were the GM of Minnesota, what would you be asking from Toronto for a young top four defender? A package that includes a pending UFA? A 6-7th defenceman? A second round pick?

The only reason why we keep seeing these pieces recycled over and over again is because we knew they are all dispensable assets. If I’m Minnesota, I’m not asking for a pending UFA, but a player of equal value, talent and age.

1 1st and 2 2nd's was the Hamonic price.

JVR might be a UFA, but an agreement to extend as part of the deal would lower the price significantly.

While the prices for RHD's are inflated, you are also overrating Dumba.

The Wild need scoring much more than the defence offered by Dumba. Their core is getting older and a bold move or a rebuild is necessary.

If we’re extending JVR then we’re also changing the parameters and assessment of the initial trade proposal. Trading for a player without any contract control or leverage for one that can be controlled also factors in. The Harmonic price was Calagary’s problem.
