Last three games not including leafs shootout loss Canucks are -7 Gudbranson is even or 0. He is logging top four minutes against Montreal only Del Zotto and Elder posted more minutes.

Guys if he looks like a top 4 defencemen he must be one. If leafs acquired him and hated his game they could walk away from him and go after another player over summer. His cost will be a pick and a player or two on roster leafs don't want anymore.

Leafs don’t do any of the above and continue to be patient in developing the right team that plays defence up front and on the blue line. Advance statistics already suggest the Leafs look in a different direction.
