Not too bad. Thomas looks like he's improved this year over last.

We could push for a 1st, rather than the 2nd, because the 1st will be late in the round.

They already traded away their 1st. Could ask for another pick in 2019.

If I am Leafs I would make that trade.

That would give them 3 2nd rounders this summer. Thomas would give them good upcoming center which they don't have.

Then I would trade Carrick, Leivo and 3rd 2018 or one of three 2nds for Tanev.

Carrick replaces Tanev for short term and Leivo adds to their younger players. They rid themselves of Tanev 4.45 contract for next 2.5 years. Trade helps nucks cap going forward. Truly they are rebuilding when Sedins leave. You hope Kapanen could step in for JVR going forward.

Oh yeah if nucks want to take Marincin for bag of pucks, I'm in.
