really looks like leafs will have a crazy cap situation in upcoming seasons and i usualy hear from everybody that jvr, bozak, and komarov have to go to sign the big 3.but when you actually think about it we could keep bozak and jvr which combined have grater value than nylander(i mean production) we could trade nylander and komarov for rhd (pesce). the reason for this trade proposal is to contend for the cup and one thing i realized is that you cannot win a cup with a bunch of kids you need veterans to win.
also jvr and Wayne simmonds are the only two net front presence that can actually play in tight so if we lose jvr we can't simply replace him with leivo(who is not that good)

Captain Clutch, I agree that JVR should be extended 6 years $5.75 MM. There is monies in two years to accommodate his salary.

Trading Bozak+ Komorov is a reality. Nylander and Marner are not playing to last year's level, and Nylander deserves a long term contract, but not an overpay. So a bridge in the $4 MM area and earning an extension to around $7 MM per annum.

Marner has incredible talent, but the long term contract is presently in the $4.5- $5MM area, Marner is not worth presently for $6.7 MM that everyone has discussed.
