You try again Heatdreamer, your trades are all trash and you have a hundred different ideas. Jarnkrok is an excellent cheap replacement for when Bozak is gone and if you think Sosh is staying with the Leafs playing every 5th game he’s gone, so move him. You way over value leafs, that’s great but you’re wrong bro.

Moore and a 3rd doesn’t get you Jarnkrok and Gards with Marincin doesn’t even come close to Barrie.

Than trade Gardiner + 2nd + Soshnikov for a Barrie.

The Av's will trade 29 yr old stalwart, Erik Johnson, before they trade 26 year old point getting Barrie.

Johnson is too expensive for the Leafs, so you can nix any deal for him. And he is too old for a rebuild, and too expensive. So they need to move him.

They will not move Barrie. Why would they? He produces every single year. He's young, and only 5.5M (cough) .

The Leafs have Liljegren and Rasanen to follow in the next year or two.

Gardiner might go at this deadline, the next, or they keep him if he's affordable. Gardiner is excellent at moving the puck and has good offence. He's just not a physical Dman. He needs to be paired with one, (Zaitsev's last fight aside (tee-hee) ) .

You need to develop your own defence through picks and trades for young prospects.
