Oil: 3rd or 4th round pick

Leafs: Leivo

Saw in an article.
Leivo is never going to crack leafs roster unless there is an injury. Leafs could use that draft pick as a trade chip if they are buyers at the deadline or they could simply use it.
Oilers get an offensive guy but most importantly a right hand shot winger.

I’d certainly make this if I’m Oilers, but would the leafs?

Leivo hasn't shown much of anything in the time he has played for someone trying to crack an NHL lineup. As for Marner, when is coach Babcock going to wake the F up and have Marner play with players who can play on his level like Brown and Marleau? Kadri can play with Nylander and JVR on the 1st line in Matthew's absence.
