Leafs trade Jvr nodal komarov

Whoever Jvr brings first plus and package Bozak and komarov for 1st and second

Leafs need to use older players who they don't want to resign as fuel to bring more prospects that keep prospects coming

This can be 10 year run for the leafs in few seasons down the road kadri and gardener will be moved as well.but their very important to the leafs right now.

The only way the team can stay on top is constantly bringing in young skilled players on entry level deals.

Their is major reason leafs don't want to acquire a 7milliom dollar player on back end. It will kill them against cap.

You hope Kapanan joins that group this year even if it later in season after you start moving Jvr Bozak and komarov

The defence prospects list is growing also

We are not looking to acquire expensive older players on long term deals. Hunter is one of best at finding top draft prospects you just need to keep loading him up with picks

The leafs will have a great present but it's what they are in 3 4 and 4 years that you have to look at.

Hainsey is only a bridge to the future so it's worth it to sign him. But if you want to sign veteran defencemen like green or doughty it won't happen. Leafs are looking to develop young dmen as they must really watch cap dollars. Reilly will be highest defencemen paid by leafs. The leafs expensive core will be Matthews nylander and marner with nylander switching to centre once Bozak is traded.

The next 4 seasons you have kadri so leafs are set at centre going forward

David just because you can put together a list of thé leafs prospects, does that make them more appealing? How can you predict these guys the way you do?

You spit the same old babble in every one of your posts. They didn't make sense then, it hasn't changed now.

I think leafs could keep bozak. If he signs for less. Which he very well might. I think leafs should keep jvr for a playoff run. If they're in it. Komarov is a heart and soul guy on a great contract. Keep him for his rough and tumble play. He mixes in skill quite well.

Let them grow together then see what we have.

I think you miss a few points in my proposal. First, Green is on an expiring contract so he is a short term bridge until the guys on your list are ready to make the jump. Also, I suggested Detroit retain 50% making him the same price as Hainsey. If you compare the two on Hero (http:/ / ownthepuck. blogspot. ca/ ) it isn't even close. Green is a legit #2 or 3 D-man and would make a better partner for Reilly.

It would allow the Leafs to move Hainsey to the 6 or 7 spot where he belongs. They could also possibly move Hainsey at the deadline like Columbus did last year. I think Rychel, a player you yourself has said needs to be moved or lost, Valiev and a 3rd is a fair price. The question should be "is this enough to get Detroit to move Green"? What would need to be added for a rebuilding team?
