Arizona - C.Dvorak, K.Wood

Toronto - T. Bozak, L. Komorov, 2018 3rd

Gives Toronto a couple prospects and a familiar face to marner, gives arizona some veteran leadership/grit/face off specialist. But also allows Toronto to protect its youth in the expansion, in which Arizona still has spots to protect bozak/Leo. Arizona may not even be interested but oh well it's Just a thought, not saying it will happen or anything. What do you think?

Makes sense for rebuilding Arizona to trade away young players for older ones. Great thinking!

Both Leo and Bozak have great value to a team on the playoff bubble.

For Arizona, who oddly seems to be where the Leafs were last year, the trade makes zero sense, even though Dvorak would be an upgrade over Bozak. And Kyle Wood is kind of interesting.

Aside from old fogies Doan (UFA), and Richardson; the Yotes have no quality RW, as Rieder and McGinn are actually converted LW's and are better off on the left.

So maybe:

TOR: Bracco, Wong (both exempt)

ARI: Dvorak, K. Wood (RHD, big, doing well in the AHL) (both exempt)

All 4 players serve the needs of their new teams.

Or if that hurts "Puck It's" feelings too much; then swap Kapanen for Bracco.

Appreciate the debate lab16 I do actually like your trade, my point was that I felt Dvorak and wood would be good pick ups for the leafs to continue down their path. Your trade definitely does make more sense when it's put that way. Xcing on the other hand, why don't you think up another useless nylander trade to trade the future away.

I watched Kyle Wood play his whole junior career in North bay. He was good, he's a big boy but I feel like he will be too slow for the nhl.
