So it seems that you all like Sandin and Llyigren now.

I think you are all barking up the wrong tree with these two.

Neither can box out in front of the net, too small, neither can throw a hard hit in their own end.
And both play typical European style of hockey checking with their sticks not hitting the body.

Teams know that Toronto is soft and hate to get hit. It is Dubas's fault because he believes skill will win over grit and toughness.

Your rant loses it’s merit every time you misspell Knies, there is no v and never has been a v.

Now to your trades:

While I like Horvat he is simply too expensive. Schenn, though, adds toughness which is part of your point.

I would try to acquire Bjugstadt as well but I’m not unpleased with Engvall’s game of late. So I’d look to replace him with someone else.

I’m prepared to give Sandin his due and willing to continue with him. Matt Roy is a bigger defensive Dman that would help and LAK would probably trade him if they had anyone else that could defend. Their GAA is awful.

And I would do the Kerfoot/ Domi trade.

Check your spelling on Bjugstat!

You will see in April when they play Boston or Tampa how they will be pushed and pounded into the boards, and cry that they have no room to move.
