Yes he is a big right handed dman. Yes he is the kind nd of guy the leafs kinda need

However, 4 million and a 2nd round pick is a kittle steep for a player who gets 18 points no matter what level he is in.

Still a good signing if under 2.4 million.

Is Dubas aggressive enough to offer sheet someone? Now that his RFA's are locked up for a while, why not?

I like the choice of player. I have a hard time seeing Dubas make Cernak an offer sheet though when there are so many good UFA's he can pursue instead without having to sacrifice assets in return.

This is only a half proposal of course. Any signing would have to involve moving cap out as well. So Leafs would recoup the picks lost offer sheeting Cernak by trading away a forward. Just depends which if JKKD you want gone.
