You mean Petry instead of Ristolainen
If you can sign Bear, Domi, Mikheyev, Clifford and Duclair for 13 MM total, you can remain under the cap.
Dont know if this goal is possible.
Petry is to expensive as 2nd RHD.

Honestly these are good trades. Duclair could be a stud just waiting for good line mates to break out.

Domi would be an amazing 3C and although we would only have Petry for a year, we would be a major upgrade to the back end.

Bear will be a great top 4 RHD, and that part makes sense to me. Honestly though Dermott and Engvall could get it done. You could simply trade Johnsson for picks if you want.

I wouldn't do the DuClair trade. He's had lots of chances to prove himself. The only reason he is doing so well on Ottawa is because there isn't anyone else there. 20g/ 40p is his cieling, not his floor. He's no better than any of the guys like Mikheyev or Hyman or even Kapanen. He plays with a little more edge to his game than those guys, but isn't exactly an enforcer or even power forward like Kassian, Kane, Wilson types. He is a Kyle Clifford type, and one of those on the team is more than enough for Dubas.
