Tor: Kerfoot Korshkov
Wpj: Lowry Stanley

Tor: Johnsson Engvall
Cbj: Anderson

First trade I think is even Kerfoot and Lowry have the same level of skill I think the leafs need size and grit where the jets could use so speed Korshkov goes as he fits the jets pretty well we get another d prospect

Second trade same thing a lot of people have said on here Anderson isn't worth anything but same can be said about Johnsson again even trade in my eyes adds a guy with size that can play the game

Anderson is a fan favorite around here. I really like his style as well but coming off an abyssal season then having surgery you can get him cheaper. I don't think anyone says he's a bad player just that this is an overpay right now.

I would be open to moving Lowry, but not for a poor defensive center that doesn't give the Jets anything they don't already have. Plus, the Jets won't move a defenseman for a 4th line winger they have less than zero need for.

@memarcusjoe just curious what would the price be for Lowry for you.

Either for a defensively responsible, but better offensively 3C or a top 4D.

Not that either would be one for one necessarily. We'd probably need to add depending on who we're talking about.

Lowry could bring a second or third round pick alone or be packaged with a player like Ehlers to get a good young 2/ 3 d-man or a young #2 center. I don't think that the Jets will be shopping him although they would get the most for him at the draft. I don't think the Jets are ready to dump Stanley yet as he wouldn't bring back much in a trade. The Jets wouldn't need or want Kerfoot or Korshkov.

So from what I gather from Lowry is that he’s a defensive center and adds little offence so I added Kerfoot who would be a replacement for Lowry Kerfoot is a decent player really good on the forecheck just has to find his finish as for Korshkov I added him because the jets have literally no prospects and Korshkov with his size and skill kinda fits Winnipeg’s m. o I have also suggested Dermott who is a #5 d but has top 4 potential.

That's the thing Leafs1994, the Jets and Leafs just aren't good trading partners. There isn't really anything the Leafs have that the Jets need. Lowry and Copp form a high end shutdown line that consistently win most of their matchups, so trading one for a marginal improvement offensively and worse defensively player doesn't make us better as we'd be losing our shutdown line.

Unless we trade superstars, then for the most part, Jets and Leafs have the same strengths and weaknesses. Jets might covet one of our defensemen, but that's about it. Swapping bottom six depth guys doesn't move the needle much for either team. No point in making trades just for the sake of making trades.

Jets is my second favorite team. They have a lot of incredible talent and an outstanding goalie. Weak on defense, they win by outscoring opponents and relying on fabulous goaltender ding (sound familiar? ) . If I was born in Manitoba I would probably be a Jets fan more than a Leafs fan.
