Leafs trade Rosen, Dermott, Kapanen
Minnesota trades Dumba

I think that's a more than fair offer for Dumba. Wild get a top 4 defenseman in Dermott, a top 6 rw in Kapanen, and a solid bottom pair defenseman in Rosen. I was always big on Rosen and was glad we brought him back. Now let's trade him. Again.

Trade is sensible though rather go after Brodin. Could c the Leafs going after Hamonic, Braun or Tanev as UFAs and trading one of there forwards (Ker, Kappy, Johnsson) for a pick/ prospect. To bad Tanev is so injury prone, he would b my target otherwise.

A rental+1year is worth Kappy, Liljigren and a 1st? Are you insane? Even the above is an overpay if we look at most rental+ trades. Look at the Muzzin deal; 1st and 2 B prospects. That's more in line with what Dumba should bring.

I don't doubt the wild agree with you though as they thought they would get a 1C for both their D.

Rental+1 year was my comment. He has 2 more years after this one though. Not 3. Same as when we got Muzzin. Dumba has 3 year right now including the end of this year.

Again I never said he was a rental but damn, ya got me there. I just checked and it does say he has 3 after this one. Lmao I believe many people myself included, have believed for a very extended period he has 2 years after this one.
