Too much for manson. Your sending 3 pieces with term. For 1 peice with term. Can probably get away with just johnsson and bracco or liljigren and bracco, or some configuration but the 3 peices is too much.

Wouldn't pay that much for Manson. Ever. Dillon is probably on par with Ceci so it makes sense just as a plug to replace him.

Ok. For whoever thinks Manson is worth a roster player plus pick/ prospect, can you please explain why you think this, and back it up with some stats. MPH, you’ve had some good proposals on here, but then you post a real head scratcher like this one. I can’t for the life of me see how Manson is worth anything more than Ceci. Other than being a bit of a physical presence, Manson’s game has declined so much that he is basically another Luke Schenn. Every analyst I’ve read is unanimous in that Manson is worth at best a mid-round pick. I would much rather play Liljegren and see what he has than trade him for washed up Manson. I think that’s more fair and makes way more sense.

I think these are great trade options for the playoffs. Leafs GM In the playoffs you need to have Manson and Dillon types. It’s a war out there. This is not European hockey. You see how the leafs are making out trying to play with no muscle. Out of the playoffs. I rest my case.

LeafsGM, Wild how polarizing Manson is here. I do like Manson and feel he is much better then his been showing this year, he has been playing with an injury. A more accurate tell of his stats r the previous few years. He also fills our most glaring need, a RH top 4 defensive dman, good contract and would look good with Reilly. I feel his worth one of Johnsson and Kappy plus a good prospect and maybe even a draft pick as well. I much rather have Dillon then Ceci.

Yeah. It is pretty wild the difference in opinion actually. Most of the time when there’s a difference in perceived value it small - the difference in pick for example. But Manson has been floated for everything from a 3rd all the way up to a 3rd + Liljegren + Johnsson/ Kapanen, and everything in between. No convergence what-so-ever.

Yes you all make valid points pro and con
I guess I am thinking 4 rounds requires warriors
These two dudes fit the bill
Johnsson may score 15
Liljegren is a bottom pair 4 at best
Bracco is definitely a crap shoot prospect

I am willing to give that for a signed. Manson

Agree with your perception of Johnson and Bracco buy Liljigren may turn into a top 4 guy or better in the next few years. He is also pretty well the last of our good prospects in the AHL. If the price was Johnson and Bracco I would pay it. Even though I still think it's probably an overpay Manson would plug a hole, play physical and help out in the long term.
