Edmonton traded Taylor Hall. That was a panic trade lol.

I would keep Tavares, resign Hyman and attempt to get the 1st overall from whomever has it+ for Mathews but if the playoffs areissed something has to be done so I don't hate it.

Don’t forget, all the money saved by trading these guys can be pumped into Hall and Pietrangelo and a couple other guys. Not everyone I suggested here is ready or will ever even make it. So a bunch of them wouldn’t be playing obviously. I just put them in to show the potential.

If I had suggested signing Hall and Pietrangelo and a few others would that make this better? My take is that our guys have more value than just what they can bring in trade value. They carry all that value in cap as well that can be used to sign free agents. Right now, that’s a lost opportunity because Dubas overpaid his own free agents.
