Without trading anyone anyone but adding size and toughness

Send down Marincin Petan and shore our fourth line is Boyle Spezza goat not the fastest but huge mcquaid plays bottom pair until Dermott gets back then rotates in and out of the lineup cheap low risk deals

dont know if boyle or McQuiaid would take that much of a pay cut but if they would I think this is a good idea.

boyle, goat, spezza. pretty good faceoff 4th line

little more size and sandpaper on the back end too.

worth a try now isn't it. all you got to do dubas is call their agents and ask. they say no oh well. they say yes and in 2-3 weeks of training with team leafs have some grit.

When Dermott and Hyman come back, we are already in a position we will have to waive players. Bringing another two depth players without moving anyone else just means we have to waive another two players. What would be the point in signing these guys to begin with if we have to waive them all? I mean, if Boyle and McQuaid were desirable to the Leafs, we would have signed them already before signing any of the guys we did.

Boyle did not enjoy his time here in Toronto. I think he would resist signing here again unless he absolutely had nowhere to go. Not sure the Leafs want anything to do with him anymore though. We depth out the wazoo.

McQuaid get a similar report card. Big bodied player that might just be a little too slow. he's another depth player on a team with so many goals is depth players we can’t possibly keep them all.

The Leafs are almost at the contract limit of 50, so they would actually need to trade away players for picks and prospects.
