Barrie has a one timer, he will play the power play and help.
Rielly doesn’t no what a one timer is.
Reilly and Barrie are both brutal at defence, they get hemmed into their own end. Watch out.
Ceci will play with Reilly.
Muzzin and Barrie
Harpur looks like he can fight, would love to see
Him play with dermott.

Spezza 4th line centre, will be good. This Kerfoot kid could be a steal. He looks like johonson, nose for the net and dirty areas where oya nylander won't go and most of the leafs.

All in all Dubas has got my attention.

Changes weren’t made, my time wasn’t going to be given to the leafs.

Gravel. We signed Gravel David. He will be our last defenseman.

Between Harpur and Gravel, we added a couple guys of real nice size. Either of those guys could be the big heavy hitting defenseman we all want.

I'm interested to see of any of Liljegren, Sandin or Bracco get any time with the big club this year, especially considering Hyman amd Dermott will start the year on IR. The 3C and 4C spots will be interesting to watch as well with Spezza, Shore, Gauthier, Petan and Kerfoot all as potential candidates.

Mikheyev Shore Moore should be the fourth line.

I agree with your third line, DM and this line could score 40 to 50 points by each player. That would be significant

Initially, Moore or Mikheyev should play with Matthews and Nylander till Hyman recovers.

Leafs will sign Marner, and I don't know how much. Marchment should be the replacement on the 4th line for the 13th forward.

@MarsBars

I don’t think Liljegren, Sandin, Bracco see much time on the Leafs this year, if at all. We need to keep them in the AHL so Seattle can’t pick them. I’m not sure what the limit is on games played before they become draft eligible. I don’t think it’s a lot. It’s probably best they get the extra year to develop anyway.

Even if Liljegren, Sandin or Bracco come up I'm pretty sure Seattle can not pick them. They did not play last year.

To add to that, it does say that 1st and 2nd year players are exempt. The expansion is set for the summer of 2021.

2nd year players are exempt too? Ok. That solves that issue then. I think. As you can tell by some of my more questionable posts, I’m obviously no expert. So if all those guys are exempt, then we don’t have a worry. I thought it was only first year players.

So from what I can gather using CapFriendly’s expansion draft tool, the candidate most likely to be lost is Hyman. Maybe we can trade him first though? Looks like he will be subject to a lot of rumours the next 20 months or so.
